Laser cutting is an excellent choice for cutting steel up to a thickness of 20 mm. It is more accurate than autogenous – and plasma cutting and because of the low heat input there is hardly any distortion. The cutting edges are sharp and usually need no further post processing.
Our partner has an annealing furnace. This oven is not only used for the heat treatment of its own products. Also third-party products are annealed in this oven.
The specifications of the annealing furnace are:
Dimensions(lxbxh): 3.900 x 3.900 x 1.300 mm. Maximum temperature: 1050 degrees Celsius.
The employees of De Plaatijzerindustrie provide the annealing procedure itself. If
desired, they implement them according to various previously existing codes. If necessary,
we bring thermocouples to monitor the temperature of the product closely
during the procedure. Clients receive a annealing explanation and if
desired, an annealing graph.
Most common heat treatments:
- Annealing
- Voltage-free annealing
- Normal annealing
- homogeneous or solvent annealing
